Are my files really secure? How can I verify this?
Absolutely! All file processing happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your files never leave your device - they're not uploaded to any server, not even ours. You can verify this yourself:
- Open your browser's Developer Tools (F12) and go to the Network tab before using any tool
- Process a PDF file and watch the network activity - you won't see any file uploads
- You can even disconnect from the internet and our tools will still work
This client-side architecture is fundamental to how we built PDFUtilityPro, providing you with complete privacy and security.
What are the file size limits?
There are no artificial limits imposed by us. The only constraint is your device's available memory (RAM). Most modern devices can easily handle PDFs up to several hundred megabytes. Very large files (500MB+) may process slowly or fail on devices with limited memory. For best performance with large files, close unnecessary browser tabs and applications.
Do I need to create an account or register?
No! All our tools are available without any registration, login, or account creation. We don't collect or store personal information. Just visit the site and start using the tools immediately - no barriers, no hassle.
Can I use these tools for commercial or professional work?
Yes absolutely! Our tools are free for both personal and commercial use. Many businesses, professionals, and organizations use PDFUtilityPro for their daily PDF processing needs. There are no licensing fees or restrictions.
Which browsers and operating systems do you support?
PDFUtilityPro works on any modern browser that supports current web standards (HTML5, JavaScript ES6+, WebAssembly). This includes:

Why do some operations take longer than others?
Processing speed depends on several factors: file size, complexity of the operation, and your device's capabilities. Operations like compression and image manipulation require more computational power than simple page extraction. Large files naturally take longer to process. Since everything runs on your device, a faster computer will process files more quickly.
Can I process password-protected PDFs?
Not currently. If a PDF is password-protected, you'll need to remove the password using the original password before processing it with our tools. Most PDF readers (like Adobe Acrobat) allow you to save an unprotected copy if you know the password. We're considering adding password support in future updates.
Do you support batch processing or automation?
Some tools support processing multiple files at once (like Merge PDF). However, we're primarily designed for individual file operations through our web interface. For large-scale batch processing or automation, you might need professional PDF software or command-line tools. If there's demand for batch features, we may add them in the future.
What if I encounter an error or the tool doesn't work?
First, try these troubleshooting steps:

- Clear your browser cache and cookies

- Ensure your PDF isn't corrupted by opening it in a PDF reader

How do you make money if all tools are free?
We display advertisements through Google AdSense to cover our operational costs (hosting, domain, development, maintenance). This allows us to keep all features completely free for everyone. We intentionally chose this model to ensure universal access to quality PDF tools without requiring subscriptions or premium tiers.
Will you add more tools in the future?
Yes! We're actively working on expanding our tool suite based on user feedback and demand. Some features under consideration include PDF form filling, OCR (text recognition from scanned PDFs), PDF to Word conversion, and digital signature support. Follow our blog for updates on new features.
Can I integrate your tools into my website or application?
